You've got all the important factors, the love, the dress, the flowers and the groom. What's next? Capturing it all on film of course!
For decades, bridal portraiture has been a major part of the marriage tradition, not only because everybody wants to remember what they look like in their bridal gowns, but also because your wedding truly is a milestone to be remembered.
While the uses of bridal portraiture vary from hanging over a fireplace in someone's home to being used as a display along with the guest book at your reception, the image remains a breathtaking and timeless one; one that can be passed down from generation to generation.
Along with the captured beauty that will last a lifetime, there are numerous benefits to the bridal portraiture process. First, as any bride knows, getting accustomed to moving around in a bridal gown can be quite a feat. There may be layers upon layers of tulle or maybe you're just slightly concerned about whether you can sit and breathe in your corset or walk with a 4-foot train.
Another benefit, by spending some time in your gown, having your picture taken and having a blast doing it, by the time your wedding day rolls around, you have a comfort level that may not have been there otherwise. You now know exactly how fast you can walk, if you can sit comfortably or if you might be able to get away with hiding some sneakers under that gown instead of those three-inch heels.
Our bridal portraiture sessions are taken at a location of your choice or, if one does not exist, any of a variety of locations we will be happy to suggest.
While we offer a selection of high-quality frames and albums, as with any of our sessions, engagement or otherwise, there is no obligation to buy. You purchase the session and decide what and if to buy. No pressure; no hard sales, just what you want the way you imagined it.
We hope you decide to partake of this timeless tradition and start your
wedding memories here.
